Nara Kim is 16 year old a youth activist from Seattle, WA. She is a first-generation Korean-American and the Executive Director of March For Our Lives Seattle, a loyal youth-led organization whose goal is to end gun violence in our schools and communities. She works with students from the greater Seattle area to host voter registration drives, town halls, youth-engagement parties, and other events aimed at harnessing the power of the youth to end gun violence. By realizing and acknowledging how violence has systematically desensitized her own generation, Nara has been working diligently to make sure future generations don’t have to experience the horrors her generation has had to face. She also works with other organizations including Washington High School Democrats where she serves as the Public Relations Chair.
