How to Take Care of Yourself with Emotion Literacy Advocates
Emotion Literacy Advocates, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in January 2001, and is comprised of passionate people, with backgrounds ranging from publishing, education, science, human services, information technology, and, of course, the arts. For more than 20 years, Pamela Sackett, Emotion Literacy Advocates’ founder, has been using language arts, theater and music to help a wide age-range of individuals and groups understand and express their true emotions. In this video, Deepthi Chandra interviews Director Pamela Sackett about how teens can understand and manage their emotions in the digital age, especially in light of the rise in mental health issues and the self-care movement.
